Printing a puzzle

Want a ready-made set? Our printable logic puzzles with answers has nine puzzles laid out one per page. Press Print under the puzzle. The page prints as a clean sheet with the clues, a blank marking grid and an empty answer table, without the site's menus. To save it as a PDF instead, choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print window. Each puzzle has its own web address, so you can bookmark or share the exact puzzle you printed and check the answers later.

Using logic puzzles in the classroom

Logic grid puzzles practise reading carefully, keeping track of information and reasoning step by step, which makes them a good fit for maths and English lessons from about age 9 up. Easy puzzles suit younger students and warm-up activities; hard puzzles work well as an extension task. Every puzzle is generated fresh, so a whole class can each have a different puzzle at the same level.
