This policy explains how rangeandreason.online ("Range & Reason", "we") handles information when you use the site. It applies to every page on this domain.
What we do not collect
The calculators run entirely in your browser. Your height, weight, age, resting pulse, sleep times and every other value you enter are processed in JavaScript on the page and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We do not store them, we cannot see them, and closing the tab discards them.
There are no user accounts on this site, and we do not ask for or hold names, addresses or payment details.
What is collected
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. These logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-focused analytics tool to count page views and understand which calculators are used. Where analytics is in place, it records aggregate page-level data only and is never linked to the values you type into a calculator.
Advertising
This site carries advertising, which is what keeps it free. Ads are supplied by Google AdSense and its partners.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The calculators here use adult reference ranges and are not appropriate for children in any case.
